Terms of use
Last updated: 4 November 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Oleksandr Usenko, who runs Lessonberg (“we”). By creating an account or using Lessonberg, you agree to them. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy.

The service
Lessonberg helps language tutors create homework for their students. It uses AI, from Anthropic, to write exercises and to check students' translations, rewritten sentences and built sentences. It's free during early access. It's provided as it is, and it may change, gain or lose features, or stop.
Your account
Use an email address you can read, and keep your password to yourself: you're responsible for what's done in your account.
Tutors
You must be 18 or over to teach. During early access you can start teaching at once, free, with the limits of our largest plan, Academy.
You're responsible for the courses and homework you create. Invite only students who have agreed to it, or, for students under 14, whose parent or guardian has. Link only to recordings that everyone in them agreed to, or, for students under 14, whose parent or guardian did. We show your students the link; who can open it is set where you keep the recording. Homework the AI writes, and the automatic checking of students' answers, can contain mistakes: review homework before you give it to your students. Keep your notes about students to what helps you teach them: no health or other sensitive details. Keep students' personal details out of themes and exercises, which go to the AI.
Where you can use Lessonberg
Anthropic, whose AI Lessonberg uses, doesn't serve every country. Don't use Lessonberg while you're in a country or region that Anthropic doesn't support, such as Russia, Belarus, mainland China, or Crimea and the Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine. Tutors: don't invite students who would use it from there.
Acceptable use
Don't use Lessonberg to break the law or to harm anyone. Don't try to get into accounts or parts of the service that aren't yours, scrape it, flood it with automated requests, or use it to send unwanted email.
Reporting illegal content
If you find something on Lessonberg that you think is illegal, write to lessonberg@gmail.com: say where it is and why you think it's illegal. A person reads every report, and we'll tell you what we decided. We don't moderate what you write automatically, except that before the AI writes homework it checks that the grammar topic is grammar and that a theme you typed suits a general audience, and the AI may decline to write homework on some themes or topics. If we remove something of yours or suspend your account, we'll tell you why, and you can write to us to ask us to look again. Authorities can reach us at the same address, in English or Spanish.
Your content
What you write and generate stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run Lessonberg for you.
Ending
You can stop using Lessonberg at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, lost data or lost profits from using Lessonberg, which is free and provided as it is. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
Law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the European Union, you keep the protections your own country's law gives you.
Changes and contact
We'll post changes here with a new date, and tell you by email about significant ones. Questions go to lessonberg@gmail.com.
